My mentor wasa DJ by the name of Grand Wizard Jazz R(R.I.P).He was a head of his time.He taught me the basics to make music with two old records as a guide to make different sounds.He guilded me and took me over his wing.He saw the potential and ambitionns in me wanting to spin those records. I also remember being at the block parties and in the park(Tompkin Park/Bed-Stuy) never wanting the music to end.I use to beg my parents and brother to let me stay out just to hear the music play.I loved music so much that i decided to play instruments. I learned to play many different instruments, and all be ear.I continued to play music for church.But spinning was my thing.My first break was at a local club in BROOKLYN, called Barry's Lounge.I love to see people dancing to what I would play.I never wanted to stop. I've played for house parties, NYCHA ,NYDC ,local clubs to name a few. People enjoyed my sounds,they asked for Cd's wherever I played.I play for everyone to hear.Whatever its OLD,NEW ROCK,HIP-HOP etc...I play for the people. You can hear my sounds all over.From the dirty-south to the 5 boroughs. I love music and the people love to hear my music.My module is..... You Name It,I'll Pllay it... Thanx and God Bless DJ Q
